Chalkstone

Chalkstone literally means “stones of chalk.” The King James Version uses the term to describe the complete destruction of pagan altars in Judah (Isaiah 27:9). Chalk covers many of the hills of Judah and breaks down easily. This makes it a fitting picture of altars being crushed and destroyed.
