Joab

A nephew of David who was a mighty fighter. He became the commander of Israel’s armies under David. He was faithful to David for many years. But he went against David by murdering Abner and Amasa. He also went against David by killing Absalom. He didn’t support Solomon as the king after David. Because of these things, David ordered Solomon to have Joab killed.
