The Weight We Carry

Some burdens we carry so long we forget we are carrying them. They become part of our posture, a permanent tension in the shoulders. Scripture offers a strange instruction: cast your cares on him, for he cares for you.

Casting is deliberate. It means letting go of something you have been gripping. What would it look like today to actually set one worry down, rather than simply carrying it more quietly?
